How to Order a Wireless Network Coverage Map.

   What information do I need to request a coverage map?

  • The Latitude and Longitude of your proposed site (how do I do that?).

  • The height you will be mounting your antenna.

  • The base station equipment manufacturer and model number you plan to use.

  • Make and model number of any amplifier you plan on installing.

  • The antenna brand and model number to be used.

  • Feed line or coax to be used.

  • Manufacturer model number of the end user equipment.

  • Brand and model number of end user antenna.

  • Typical mounting height of the end user antenna.

 

In addition you will need to decide what type of map you would like    designed. You may chose from the following:

  • Street level map with one color coverage area. Best for web or paper publications.

  • Street level map with terrain relief shown and one color coverage area.

  • Street level map with terrain relief and multiple colors for signal strength with color legend.

  • Topographic map with terrain relief and multiple colors for signal strength with color legend.

  • Topographic map with single color coverage area.

  • Raw terrain data only with single color coverage.

  • Raw terrain data with multiple colors for signal strength and legend.

  • Aerial photo with single color signal strength (where available).

  • Aerial photo with multiple color signal strength and legend.

 

When you have all of your information together send it to us. We will get back to you if there are any other questions. Payment can be made through PayPal or a faxed copy of a company purchase order (subject to credit approval).

The above maps can also be ordered showing "line of site coverage only" using a single color. The information needed to complete a line of sight study are: coordinates, transmitter mounting height, and receiver or user mounting height.
